Johnson Stokes & Master (Tanglau) has been named “Gender Diversity International Firm of the Year” at the Women in Business Law Awards Asia Pacific 2023.
The award recognises the impact Tanglau has had in promoting gender diversity in the legal sector. In particular, the firm published the Everyday Behaviour Project, a first-of-its-kind research publication in partnership with Women in Law Hong Kong (WILHK), which highlights the gender biases and micro-aggressions that women in Hong Kong’s legal sector face on a regular basis.
The annual Women in Business Law Awards aim “to recognise complex and innovative firm initiatives that promote women in law and the leading women practitioners from over 30 practice areas.”
