Trevor Y. T. Wong is a senior associate in the Hong Kong office of Tanglau's Insurance Litigation practice. Clients turn to Trevor for his extensive experience in litigation, mediation, settlement strategy and dispute resolution of insurance-related disputes.
Trevor helps clients to resolve disputes in personal injury claims and insurance litigation. He advises clients on all aspects of insurance litigation including policy-related issues involving employees' compensation, public liability and motor liability. He represents and defends construction companies, utilities service providers, public authorities, public transport operators, premises' owners and occupiers in cases involving personal injuries, death and property damages.
Trevor completed secondment with leading global insurer, responsible for managing and handling new business in employees' compensation and personal injury claims mainly related to the construction industry, also developed and implemented a comprehensive case handling strategy and model, significantly improving the efficiency and effectiveness of claims processing of the global insurer.
Trevor is regularly engaged as a speaker and trainer for insurers, insured parties, brokers and corporate clients, delivering presentations on the latest legal updates and practical case handling skills, with the aim in keeping clients informed of legal developments and enhancing their skills and knowledge in managing complex claims and litigations.
Trevor has served clients including construction and engineering companies, public bus companies, front-line airport services provider, electricity and power generation company, gas company, luxury vehicle dealer, retail shops and supermarkets and global fast food service restaurant chains.
